Lucy Pulvers RI, born in 1989, began her artistic journey as a child, born and growing up in Kyoto, Japan. This beginning, surrounded by traditional and contemporary Japanese art, architecture, design and culture, in many ways shaped the artist she has become. Above all, her artworks are always founded in the original drawing and linework. Her early life in Japan is also the reason it was natural for her to work in watercolours on paper.
